It’s been a while since last I said hello to you through online. It’s a Christmas time. I wonder what kind of plans you have prepared for this Christmas. This year I have been too busy with the various activities in Japan, but still it has become a very meaningful year to me. This Christmas... I hope all of you spend a great time with your family. I felt sorry that I haven’t had more time to work in Korea, however, I’ve got many plans for the year 2007. Please wait and see. Ryu Siwon Weekly No. 7 [18 Dec 2006]Fashionista Siwon at Golden Disc Awards
We could see Siwon on TV after a long while at 2006 Golden Disc Awards as a ceremony host. He presented his usual smooth and flowing direction of the ceremony working in perfect harmony with the partner, Kang Soo Jung. Another thing that caught our eyes was his style that day; he dressed in white conforming to his nickname, Prince, in the first half, and he appeared in sophisticated and charismatic black suit at the second half, which was admired by the audience. Siwon became Series Champion of 2006 KGTC Series after he made it to the first place at KGTC Round 7, the final game of the year, with his new partner, Ahn Jae Mo. Now no one can raise an objection to the fact that Siwon is the best racer. To our further amazement, the total point he gained this year, which made him the Series Champion, was 106; that was the very logo of his last birthday party. (As you all know, it is from his birth date, October 6.) What a coincidence! Anyway, the year 2006 must be his ‘unforgettable’ year in his life. The loving support of all the fans who came to support throughout the year and especially the ones who came to Round 7 in spite of the cold weather who made his victory even more meaningful. Congratulations to Siwon! Ryu Siwon and Kang Soo Jung emceeing the 21st Golden Disk Awards One of the biggest year-end awards ceremonies in Korea, the 21st Golden Disk Awards will be held in December 14th at Olympic Hall in the Olympic Park. Siwon, acting as an MC of SBS “Taste vs. Taste” will host the ceremony with Kang Soo Jung, a celebrity anchorperson. As we could hardly see him on Korean TV recently, it is certainly a piece of good news for his fans in Korea. The ceremony will be covered live on M-Net, tvN and KMTV. Hey, aren’t you excited about how glamorous he will dress this time for this huge Korean POP festival? December 09 Ryu Siwon to be appointed Publicity Ambassador....Ryu Siwon to be appointed the publicity ambassador to Andong National University.
